Congo Natty is releasing his first album since 2015.
Arriving August 26th via New State Music, Ancestorz (Roots of Jungle) sees the pioneering junglist—real name Mikail Tafari—exploring jungle, drum & bass, reggae, jazz, hip-hop and more across 26 tracks.
To kick off the release, Tafari has shared two singles, "Athos"—a collaborative production with Fleck and MC Lij Tafari—and "Jungle Defender," featuring melodica from Addis Pablo, the son of roots reggae and dub legend Augustus Pablo.
Ancestorz (Rootz Of Jungle) is Congo Natty's first full-length release since his 2015 album, Jungle Revolution in Dub on Big Dada Recordings.
