  • Bradley Zero and Nathaneal Williams, one-half of The Colours That Rise, are opening a new music bar and restaurant in London. Named Jumbi, the Peckham-based venue showcases music and food from the Afro-Caribbean diaspora. It features a hi-fi system, a turntable in a custom-built booth and a library of Bradley Zero's entire vinyl collection that guests can use. "The single turntable concept is an attempt to encourage deep listening and prioritise selection above mixing," the Rhythm Section founder described in an Instagram post. "Jumbi isn’t a club - it’s a hang out centred around music, food and drink." The intimate space will offer a range of rum cocktails and West Indian food in a nod to the founders' Caribbean heritage. It will have a soft opening throughout July, operating Wednesdays through Sundays, before officially launching in August. Check Jumbi's website for more information.
