  • Pako & Frederik, known for their releases on Global Underground, Bedrock, Sexonwax and their own label Majestic Music, have launched a new label called Sitrep. Short for 'the situation report', the new label will be home to releases by the Dutch production duo, who have previously recorded under their first names, Pako & Frederik and more using their family names Raisani & Borgesius. The first release on Sitrep will be a Raisani & Borgesius production, ‘Storm Karkand’/‘Complete Nansensu’. Both tracks have already received heavy praise from the likes of John Digweed, Hernan Cattaneo, Jimmy van M, Sander Kleinenberg, Michel de Hey, Nick Warren, Paul van Dyk and Luke Fair. Pako & Frederik originally came to prominence after several releases on John Digweed's Bedrock label and the huge 'Beatus Possessor/Western Approaches' on Coded. In 2003 their album 'Atlantic Breakers' was the debut release on Global Underground offshoot GU:Music. The pair have since also recorded music for the US TV show CSI Miami. Raisani & Borgesius – 'Storm Karkand'/'Complete Nansensu' is scheduled to be released on Sitrep on April 17, 2006.
