  • Boudica, a London collective, party series and conference that showcases women, trans and non-binary artists, is now a label. Its inaugural release is Pure Bones, a compilation EP that explores spoken word and industrial dance music. Arriving on July 25th, it features Wanton Witch, Femanyst, Nur Jaber and Boudica founder Samantha Togni. "The artists chosen for the [release] perfectly symbolise Boudica's vision: without boundaries and fearlessly experimental," the label said in a statement. News of the 12-inch coincides with the announcement of Boudica's second music conference. Taking place in London on August 7th, the program consists of various panel discussions on issues related to gender disparity and representation in electronic music. For those unable to attend, the event will be streamed for free on August 21st. Listen to the title track off Pure Bones.
