I. JORDAN is now the official new artist name of the DJ and producer previously known as India Jordan.
The name change was declared today by the artist on Instagram where they wrote: "So here's that announcement: from now on my artist name is I. JORDAN."
They added: "I've been really excited to share this as it's felt heavy carrying around 'India Jordan' when it really doesn't resonate with me anymore."
From now on, I. JORDAN is the name that will be seen on lineups, posters, socials and music streaming platforms. The artist thanked everyone "who's been an incredible support during this change over period" and said they're "looking forward to this new chapter and new music very soon."
I. JORDAN came out as non-binary in 2019. The Doncaster-born artist performed a back-to-back closing set with artist Finn for Local Action's tenth birthday party earlier this month.
