Finland's Solstice Festival completes 2022 lineup

- Finnish festival Solstice has finalised this year's lineup. The new additions include international guests such as D. Tiffany, Hashman Deejay, Emma DJ and Mama Snake (who will go back-to-back with Spekki Webu for the first time), plus local favourites like emkay, Ringa Manner and Post Bar founders Denzel, J.Lindroos, Daniel Kayrouz and Justus Valtanen. These names join the likes of Ben UFO, Powder and Willikens & Ivkovic, who were confirmed back in December. In addition to the music, Solstice 2022 will centre art and sustainable practices. There will be site-specific installations from Parisian collective Matière Noire, Sweden's Fabian Bergmark Näsman and Finnish designer Santeri Valtanen, plus pieces created using recycled waste from the nearby town of Kuusamo. The art programme has been curated in collaboration with Kuusamo Arctic Residence Centre. Solstice 2022 will run from June 23rd through 25th at Rukatunturi, a resort in the hills above Kuusamo.
