- Taking place from September 24th through 25th, the event also features The Avalanches, Four Tet back-to-back Floating Points, Caroline Polachek and others.
- Goldenvoice, the promoter behind Coachella, is curating a new festival in San Francisco called Portola. Happening at shipyard Pier 80 on September 24th and 25th, the gathering features a massive lineup encompassing dance music, hip-hop and pop. Booked acts include Kaytranada, Jamie XX, Charli XCX, Gorgon City, Fatboy Slim, Bicep, Arca, The Avalanches, PinkPantheress, Elkka, James Blake, The Chemical Brothers, M.I.A., Four Tet with Floating Points, slowthai, Channel Tres, Danilo Plessow and more. Sets kick off at noon each day and end by 11 PM. Presale tickets will be available this Friday, May 20th, with early-bird prices for the two-day pass costing $299.95 plus fees.
