Hamburg label Bureau B has compiled psychedelic kosmische music from the '70s and '80s.
Featuring well-known names—Faust, Moebius, Cluster, Roedelius, Brian Eno—alongside more obscure artists, Silberland Vol 1 collects 20 tracks released between 1972 and 1986. The LP, which includes edits made by the label, is the first in a series, and will be available digitally and on vinyl from July 1st.
The Silberland compilations will focus on the psychedelic side of the kosmische genre (AKA Krautrock), incorporating elements of ambient, trance, post-punk, dub and the avant-garde electronics of the '60s.
