Flesh Queer Festival shares wider programme, including workshops, LGBTQIA+ staffing

- The debut edition is taking place on May 28th and 29th.
- Flesh Queer Festival, billed as "the UK's first queer electronic music and camping festival," has shared its non-musical programme. Taking place at Springfield Farm, around 25 minutes from London by train, Flesh is fully focused on centring the experience of LGBTQIA+ folks. As such, lots of the staff, including security, paramedics and artist liaisons, will be LGBTQIA+. "We want our guests to feel comfortable and represented at all times and for Flesh to be an event for the community, by the community," the team said. Other highlights include an alcohol-free activity space, curated by queer club night Riposte, offering workshops, panels and the chance for solo attendees to meet people. The workshops include a radical self-care class hosted by charity Rainbow Mind and a session on harm reduction run by PsyCare UK. In partnership with queer, sex-positive lifestyle brand HOWL, the festival will offer an inclusive play area in the woods. The space will include glowing furniture, free CBD products and comfortable seating. There will also be seven different food vendors, plus pop-up shops selling candles, lingerie, magazines and more. Running across May 28th and 29th, Flesh Queer Festival will welcome musical performances from the likes of Chippy Nonstop, object blue, LSDXOXO and SPFDJ. Find the full lineup in the listing below.
