  • Donner, an instrument maker known for its affordable guitar pedals, has entered the synth market. Priced at $169, the B1 is a 303-style analog bass synthesizer in the vein of Roland's TB-303 and Behringer's TD-3. It includes a single oscillator with square and saw wave options, a 16-step sequencer and built-in saturation and delay effects. Featuring what Donner calls a "beginner-friendly" interface, the B1 also comes with 128 different sequence presets that cover various genres. It can be connected with multiple devices and used in a DAW as a MIDI keyboard. For more details, check Donner's website.
