  • A woman in her 30s died in hospital this past weekend after attending Bang Face Weekender, Liverpool Echo reports. Paramedics were called to Pontins Southport Holiday Park shortly after 7 AM last Friday, May 6th. The woman was found unresponsive in her room before being transported to a nearby hospital, where she died shortly after. "The woman's next of kin have been informed and the death is not believed to be suspicious," Merseyside Police said in a statement. "Our investigations are continuing into the incident and a file will be passed to the coroner." Resident Advisor reached out to Bang Face, who provided this statement. "Our deepest condolences to the family and friends of the deceased. Police confirmed she died in hospital and the death is not believed to be suspicious." Running from May 5th through 9th, Bang Face 2022 marked the festival's 12th edition. Update, May 11th: This piece was updated with Bang Face's statement.
