  • New London festival Overflo is the brainchild of PXSSY PALACE cofounder Nadine Noor Ahmad and BBZ cofounder Naeem Davis. Officially called PXSSY PALACE presents Overflo, the one-day event will take place on Saturday, September 18th, at Burgess Park in Peckham. Though the lineup is still TBA, fans can expect queer, trans, non-binary, Black, indigenous and POC talent from the UK and beyond. "As curators, we are concerned with queering everything we can, from opportunities to events," said Noor Ahmad. "Overflo is no different. The festival is a natural progression from what we as a team have been doing with Lesbiennale, PXSSY PALACE, BBZ and The Sanctuary. People can expect meaningful curation, unforgettable experiences, care and to come away feeling nourished and uplifted." As well as DJ sets and live performances, Overflo will host workshops, talks and art pieces inspired by the queer and trans communities. The lineup will be revealed in the coming weeks.
