  • Lockdown blog and photo book Quarantune has rebranded as NYXXX, a new event series and editorial platform. Run by Irish DJ and journalist Niamh O'Connor, NYXXX will combine parties in London with a website spotlighting artists, their musical heritage and their local scenes. (Samantha Togni, RONI and Madagascar-born techno DJ RAEZA are up first.) There's also a monthly show on Threads Radio. Supported by UK promotions company FreeFromSleep, the NYXXX parties will run three times a year. The launch is taking place on Saturday, May 14th, at FOLD with sets from Etapp Kyle, Marie Montexier, MarcelDune and O'Connor (AKA Niamh). "These parties are about building a community and working with artists who are genuinely fantastic humans with a magical presence both on and off the dance floor," O'Connor said. "Each event will celebrate them for a night of freedom, fun and unity, which is precious in the current climate." Listen back to NYXXX's debut show on Threads Radio in March.
