  • UK charity Youth Music is currently accepting applications for the latest round of its NextGen Fund. UK-based individuals between the ages of 18 to 25 who are looking to launch music projects can receive grants of up to £2,500 via the program. Special consideration is given to those facing financial barriers. Deaf or disabled creatives who are 25 to 30 years old are also eligible. Run in collaboration with Butterz co-founder and recent RA guest editor Elijah, the grants are open to aspiring producers, DJs, rappers, singers, label owners, agents, managers, A&R representatives and "roles that have yet to be defined," according to the website. Launched in 2021 as a way to invest in young talents, the NextGen Fund has provided funding to 71 applicants in total. The deadline to apply for the current round is Monday, May 23rd. Additional funding rounds are expected in August and December of this year. Visit Youth Music's website for more details on the application process.
