  • Berlin club Tresor is finally reopening next week after more than two years. Closed since March 2020, the iconic venue is returning with two flagship events on May 6th and 7th. Highlights on the Friday include DJ Stingray 313, Ciarra Black and a live set by Minimal Violence, before Function, Janina, XDB and more play the following night. Since closing, Tresor has undergone major refurbishment, including a complete overhaul of the Globus floor which will be complete by May 27th. A new soundsystem by Lambda Labs has also been installed, and the club hopes that once reopened, the spaces will be used for a more diverse range of events rather than just club nights, such as live music, screenings and exhibitions. Unlike other Berlin clubs, Tresor chose to stay shut during the many twists and turns of the Covid-19 pandemic. The club celebrated its 30th anniversary in 2021 with a 12-vinyl, RA-recommended compilation spanning 52 tracks. Find the full lineups for Tresor's reopening weekend in the listings below. In June, Tresor's smaller sister club and neighbour OHM will also be reopening. Details for the relaunch are TBA. Photo: Camille Blake
