- Détends-toi will be out on a new label, Cosmic Romance, in June.
Paris-born, Berlin-based DJ and singer Stella Zekri is releasing her debut EP on June 17th.
Spanning six tracks, Détends-toi will be out on Cosmic Romance, a new label founded by Gilberto and Ed Longo. The EP, which features Zekri primarily as a vocalist, was produced and co-written by Longo. Featuring four original songs, a dub version and a French language cover of Carly Simon's "Why," the EP was influenced by zouk, boogie and the sound of the mid-'80s French underground.
As a DJ, Zekri has been on the rise lately. She is the cofounder of Berlin's beloved Body Language party and is known for her wide-ranging, vinyl-only sets at many of the city's best clubs.
