  • New collective Sirän aims to elevate Istanbul's underground scene image
  • Sirän is a new events collective based in Istanbul. Founded by Nene H and Y.UNAN, the platform plans to organise events at least four times a year. These will be a mix of club nights, community gatherings, workshops and talks with a focus on marginalised individuals. Nene H will lead its debut event, a DJ workshop and talk on May 5th. The workshop will host up to ten participants, prioritizing women and LGBTQ+ attendees. Both the workshop and discussion will be held in Turkish. Those interested can register here. The following day, Suma Han will host a party with Nene H, Y.UNAN, Kübra Uzun, Mx Sür and drag performer Willie Ray on the bill. Sirän's next edition will take place in September with Sedef Adasï, Berghain's newly-announced resident. Check Sirän's Instagram for updates.
