New York club Mood Ring is releasing an astrology-themed cocktail book, Margarita In Retrograde

- The April 19th launch will be celebrated with two nights of parties.
- Bushwick club Mood Ring is putting out an astrology-themed cocktail recipe book. Authored by owners Vanessa Li and Bowen Goh, the 192-page Margarita In Retrograde will be available to purchase via Abrams Books on April 19th. The book contains four recipes for each of the 12 astrological sun signs and includes unique ingredients such as CBD drops, gummy bears and oat milk. To celebrate the launch, Mood Ring is hosting parties on Friday, April 22nd and Saturday, April 23rd. Featured acts include local DJs Rose Kourts, Kat Offline, Oscar Nñ, Beta Librae and more. "Meeting Dr. Melfi" Glass type Rocks Ingredients 1 oz Del Maguey Vida mezcal 1 oz Amaro Nonino ¼ oz Campari ½ oz passionfruit nectar ½ oz lemon juice Fresh mint (for garnish) Directions Pour the Del Maguey Vida mezcal, Amaro Nonino, Campari, passionfruit nectar and lemon juice into a cocktail shaker. Add ice and shake vigorously. Strain into a rocks glass filled to the top with ice. Place a mint leaf on the palm of your hand and spank it to release the aroma. Use as garnish.
