- The record arrives next month on Smalltown Supersound.
Kelly Lee Owens has announced her third album.
Spanning nine tracks, LP.8 touches on experimental pop, industrial sounds and ambient. It lands on April 29th via Smalltown Supersound. "For me, eight meant completion," Owens said in a press statement in regard to the record's title. "An album that will ripple infinitely with me personally."
Following the cancellation of her world tour, the London-based artist teamed up with noise musician Lasse Marhaug in Oslo to record the LP. The duo "envisioned making music somewhere in between Throbbing Gristle and Enya," the press statement described.
LP.8 comes two years after Owens' second album, Inner Song.
