Sheffield's No Bounds Festival reveals 40-plus names for 2022

- Sheffield festival No Bounds has revealed the first 40-plus acts playing in 2022. For the first time, the city-wide event will begin and end at Sheffield Cathedral, with live performances from Blawan, Manchester rapper-dancer Blackhaine and TBA guests on Friday, October 14th, followed by a closing concert curated by Mark Fell on the 16th. As ever, the bulk of the action will take place at industrial venue Hope Works. Several other venues—DINA, The Dorothy Pax, Bal Fashions and Plot 22—are also onboard this year. The Beatriarchy, a music platform supporting underrepresented artists, will host a takeover at Hope Works. These venues will host DJ sets from the likes of Helena Hauff, LCY, Job Jobse, Scratchclart, Saoirse, Nia Archives, Tim Reaper, Batu (who will go back-to-back with Skee Mask), TSVI, Tom Boogizm, 96 Back and SHERELLE, who will go back-to-back with Kode9. On a live tip, The Black Dog, dBridge, Grove, Deena Abdelwahed and LYZZA have all been confirmed. More names will be added in the coming weeks. No Bounds will also continue its commitment to exploring new technologies, with two pieces confirmed so far: Mark Fell and Rian Treanor's Intersymmetric Sequencer NNNB and Patterns In Between Intelligences, a group combining coding with live dance.
