  • Japanese festival Rainbow Disco Club returns next month for the first time in three years. Not counting last October's spin-off event, Rainbow Disco Club 2022 will be the first flagship festival since spring 2019. Running from Friday, April 29th, through Sunday, May 1st, in the town of Higashliizu, there are slots for the likes of DJ Nobu, Ron Morelli, Kikiorix, Licaxxx, Moodymann, Sobriety, Sisi and Wata Igarashi, who will perform live. Rainbow Disco Club took place for the first time in 2010 and was cancelled twice in subsequent years because of the 2011 tsunami and the Tokyo typhoon in 2012. This year, the festival celebrates 12 years since its inception. Read more about Rainbow Disco Club and its family-friendly ethos in this 2018 feature. Here's the 2022 lineup.
