Legendary drum & bass label Metalheadz is launching a techno-inspired label called Headzstate.
According to Metalheadz, the new outlet will showcase the sounds of techno as they've evolved over the past 30-plus years, citing influences like Reinforced Records and the early work of Doc Scott, Nookie and 4Hero. The first release will be announced soon.
Goldie founded Metalheadz in 1994 with the help of duo Kemistry & Storm. With over 100 releases in the catalog, the label has long been a driving force in the drum & bass scene.
