Scheduled for March 26th, the event's second edition will showcase Japanese electronic music and digital arts.
Paris's Japan Connection Festival returns for its second edition later this month.
Taking place on March 26th at Gaîté Lyrique, the multidisciplinary event is a celebration of Japanese electronic music and digital arts. Running in two parts—from 2 PM through 7 PM and 11:30 PM through 5:30 AM—the programme includes DJ sets, performances, installations, talks, conferences, free workshops and activities curated by TEMPURA, a French magazine dedicated to Japanese culture.
DJs on the lineup include DJ Masda, Hugo LX and techno star DJ Nobu, who will play back-to-back with Wata Igarashi for the first time outside of Japan. There will also be a debut live set from Satoshi Tomiie & Kuniyuki , plus live performances from Manami Sakamoto & Yuri Urano and more.
As well as the music and visuals, attendees will have the chance to try authentic Japanese teas, sake and street food. The festival is also a phone-free event, with festivalgoers asked to put their mobiles into Yondr bags with magnetic locks upon entry.
