  • Paris's Japan Connection Festival returns for its second edition later this month. Taking place on March 26th at Gaîté Lyrique, the multidisciplinary event is a celebration of Japanese electronic music and digital arts. Running in two parts—from 2 PM through 7 PM and 11:30 PM through 5:30 AM—the programme includes DJ sets, performances, installations, talks, conferences, free workshops and activities curated by TEMPURA, a French magazine dedicated to Japanese culture. DJs on the lineup include DJ Masda, Hugo LX and techno star DJ Nobu, who will play back-to-back with Wata Igarashi for the first time outside of Japan. There will also be a debut live set from Satoshi Tomiie & Kuniyuki , plus live performances from Manami Sakamoto & Yuri Urano and more. As well as the music and visuals, attendees will have the chance to try authentic Japanese teas, sake and street food. The festival is also a phone-free event, with festivalgoers asked to put their mobiles into Yondr bags with magnetic locks upon entry. Here's the lineup.
