- One of the new artists, Wavejumpers, appears to be a Drexciya-related project.
Legendary Detroit label Underground Resistance has new music on the way.
All expected in March, the three EPs are by Wavejumpers, Mano De Fuego (AKA Mexican duo Soul Of Hex) and Detroit spoken word artist Mike Ellison, whose EP features an a capella version and a Mark Flash remix.
Judging by the artwork and track titles, Wavejumpers appears to be a Drexciya-related project. The press text accompanying the record is as follows:
"The Spawn has escaped. Wavejumpers spotted off the coast of Scotland. Can you decode The Sound that lurks in the fog?"
These are the first releases on Underground Resistance since Mark Flash's Audiofluid EP in 2016. Alongside the new bits is a remastered reissue of Perception and Mike Banks's 2004 single, "Windchime."
