  • A new festival is coming to Fort Vechten, a 19th-century fort near Utrecht in the Netherlands. Scheduled for Saturday, July 30th, Orbit Festival is from the team behind pop-up club WAS. in Utrecht. The 5,000-capacity event is partnering with several local promoters and organisations—United Identities, Uncloud, Stranded FM and Stichting Prisma Groep—plus Amsterdam's Is Burning. The lineup, which will be split across a main stage and four smaller ones, includes Carista, Octo Octa, Helena Hauff, D. Tiffany, Philou Louzolo, Sandrien, Ross From Friends (who will DJ), ISAbella, Mad Miran, Ploy, Carlos Valdes, Gerd Janson and Russell E.L. Butler, who will play live. Like WAS., Orbit will operate a 21-plus age limit. Here's the flyer and some more photos of the venue, a UNESCO World Heritage Site built between 1867 and 1870.
