The Pete Tong DJ Academy is launching this year.
News of the e-learning platform broke yesterday, April 27th, at IMS Ibiza. Tong and cofounder Carl Cox, in partnership with Rome's MAT Academy, promise to take aspiring DJs to the next level via dozens of one-on-one, on-demand video tutorials that cover every aspect of the industry.
With help from five tutors—Cox, Jamie Jones, TSHA, Nicole Moudaber and MAT Academy duo The ReLOUD—participants will learn about the technical side of DJing (beatmatching, track structure), as well as marketing, mindset, DJ etiquette and more. Participants will also have access to a pool of industry contacts and DJing opportunities.

"A new platform that gives my peers and I a chance to pass on a lifetimes worth of learning, experience and skills to the next generation.
