Close friends and family of late DJ Alex T organize a party for meningitis

- The event coincides with the two-year anniversary of the DJ's passing.
- Friends and family of Alex T have arranged a fundraising party in honor of the late DJ. The DJ, born Alex Theodossiadis, passed away nearly two years ago following a brief bout with bacterial meningitis. The event will take place at Leeds' Assembly House Studios on the anniversary of his passing, January 28th, 2022. Doors open at 11 PM GMT. Featuring sets from Bugs Groove, Heels & Souls, Zoe Pea and more, the party will raise money for Meningitis Now, a UK charity raising awareness of meningitis and supporting those who have contracted the illness. Last year the Leeds NHS trust apologized to the family of Theodossiadis following an inquest that found he was given inadequate care during a hospital transfer. Since his death, the family has sought to raise more awareness of the illness. Find the event listing and lineup below.
