The self-titled album of Italo disco pioneers Kano has been reissued and remastered on vinyl for the first time since its original release.
Kano, which came out in 1980, is the debut full-length from the Italy-based ensemble. Drawing on synth funk and disco, the six-track LP is widely considered a precursor to the electro and breakdance movements that characterised the 1980s. It's out now courtesy of Italian label Full Time Production, which is part of Goody Music Production.
The 2021 release of Kano follows No Cents… Go Funky!, an album by Kano cofounder Stefano Pulga from earlier this year.
