Shonky is launching a vinyl-only label in January 2022.
Stoned Pilot will only release collaborations between the Apollonia member and other artists. The aim is to record the music at Shonky's Berlin studio, which features an array of vintage synths, drum machines and sequencers.
The first EP, Humanizer, is from Shonky and Italian producer Otis, who both lived in the same building during the pandemic. They grew to know each other and decided to hit the studio, resulting in these four club-ready tracks.
