Carmen Villain has a new album out on Smalltown Supersound in February.
Only Love From Now On is the fourth full-length from Carmen Villain, real name Carmen Hillestad, dating back to 2013. Her albums have all come out through the Oslo label.
The new LP, out February 25th, features trumpeter Arve Henriksen and flautist Johanna Scheie Orellana. Unlike Hillestad's earliest albums, Only Love From Now On is totally instrumental. She described the record's intentions as "wishing to maintain a sense of careful optimism for the future, while on the cusp of something unknown."
