  • Iration Steppas, a Leeds-based soundsystem and production outfit consisting of Mark Iration and Dennis Rootical, is the subject of a new film. Ina Vanguard Style highlights Iration Steppas' deep connection with dub music, their coming-of-age in a West Indian community, their experimental productions that blended dub with acid and their entry into soundsystem building. Made by Dubquake Records, the documentary arrives on Vimeo on February 6th. A limited number of DVDs will also be available via Bandcamp at that time. In celebration of the launch, Dubquake has put together a 12-inch vinyl bundle featuring reissues of Iration Steppas tracks and previously unheard dubplates. Called the 90s Classic Cutz Package, the release is out now. Watch a trailer of Ina Vanguard Style.
