GAIKA has unveiled a new audiovisual installation at the ICA.
War Island is part of the Nine Nights' exhibition Channel B, which has been running since September and will end on January 30th, 2022. Also in January, GAIKA will release the War Island soundtrack, made with regular collaborators AArt and Endless Felix Lee.
"Zatōichi," the lead single from War Island, is out now. It's "my battle prayer, words as armour," GAIKA told Resident Advisor. "Sometimes it feels cruddy in a cosmic way out here. So I guess this is a mantra in the end [...] Pay artists."
