  • A new superclub will open in Brazil next month. Run by Renato Ratier, who worked with Warung Beach Club for a decade, Surreal is a 92,000-square-foot space in Camboriú, Santa Catarina. "Music has been running through my veins since I was a child so I am committed to continuing to grow electronic music in Brazil," Ratier told Resident Advisor. "This new project will do that and very soon everyone will be able to experience the surreal sensations that the new complex will offer." Ratier added that Surreal's location is "an absolutely stunning rural countryside place, surrounded by nature, beautiful fields and forest areas." Three opening parties will take place on December 26th, 28th and 30th. Artists booked across the three dates include Crazy P, Radio Slave, Hito, Gui Boratto and Dyed Soundorom. From February 25th through 27th, BPM Festival will host its debut Brazilian edition at Surreal, with slots for Carl Craig, Henrik Schwarz, Nicole Moudaber and more. Check out Surreal's launch programme.
Update, November 30th: This piece has been updated to reflect that this is BPM's debut edition in Brazil. Some of the lineup has also been added.
