  • Bass Coast is raising funds for flood relief in its adopted hometown of Merritt, British Columbia. The city's 7,000 inhabitants, as well as indigenous communities in the area, were forced to evacuate last week after severe rains caused a local river to flood. With homes, farms, roads and public infrastructure badly damaged, proceeds raised by Bass Coast will be go to people most impacted. The festival has already raised $15,000 CAD ($11,840) via a GoFundMe campaign and it's now looking to hit $22,000 CAD ($17,370). Visit the GoFundMe page for more information.
