  • Björk revealed details on a forthcoming album in a recent interview. Speaking with the Icelandic National Broadcaster RÚV, Björk Guðmundsdóttir gave key details on an as-yet-unannounced tenth studio album, saying that it's "for people who are making clubs at home in their living room, restricted to their 'Christmas bubble,'" as translated by Mixmag. She added that many of the songs come in between 80 and 90 BPM (the tempo at which she walks). In the interview, Guðmundsdóttir also speaks about how Black Lives Matter and the pandemic inspired her to work with foreign women stuck in Iceland Women's Shelters during Covid-19. (A series of orchestral concerts & livestreams from Reykjavik will support Kvennaathvarf Women's Shelter.) She'll also play Cornucopia shows in Los Angeles and San Francisco in early 2022, with performances in Moscow, Helsinki, Berlin and Cheshire to follow in summer 2022.
