  • Italian high-end brand Bottega Veneta held its Salon O3 show at the Michigan Building Theater in Detroit last night. Bottega's creative director, Daniel Lee, has long been obsessed with cars and techno, and after a layover in Detroit, he developed a fixation with the city, which culminated in last night's show in the movie theater-turned-carpark. The English designer tapped Moodymann to score the show, and the livestream from the runway seems to indicate that KDJ debuted 15 minutes of new music at the event. The connection to Detroit's dance music scene did not end there. Carl Craig designed a light and sound installation for a cocktail party held after the show in the structure's garage. A pop-up Bottega shop in a former firehouse also includes vinyl furnished by Waajeed's Underground Music Academy. Watch Bottega Veneta's Salon O3 show. This has been amended to "Italian brand."
