  • Flora Yin-Wong will release a new EP on First Light Records next month. Spanning four tracks, The Sacrifice is the first in a new series called Unbuilt Sound, which sends electronic artists to rural locations to produce new works inspired by their surroundings. Yin-Wong spent time in a cabin outside Machynlleth in north Wales, collecting field recordings for the EP, which features collaborations with Rachel Lyn and Adam Sherry. "Taking its name from a modern adaption of The Mabinogion, the earliest collection of mythic Welsh stories, The Sacrifice is an isolated reflection on the earthen landscape of weaving valleys and still lakes," says Yin-Wong. Listen to "The Sacrifice" featuring Adam Sherry, and revisit Yin-Wong's RA Podcast from earlier this year.
