  • Amsterdam's new electronic music museum, Our House, is opening on Friday, October 29th. Billed as "the world's first modern museum" dedicated to electronic music, Our House will span six exhibitions and 15 installations, including photo galleries, interactive vinyl players, documentaries, flyers, drum machines and a closing 4D audiovisual experience called "The Culture Ride." Artefacts have been contributed by the likes of Carl Cox, Kevin Saunderson, Charlotte de Witte, Armin van Buuren and The Frankie Knuckles Foundation. "Together with more than 150 international artists, promoters, creatives, producers, curators, operators and DJs, we have worked for the last two years on the realisation of the collection," says cofounder Jeroen Jansen. Located on Amstelstraat, Our House sits on the former site of iT, one of Amsterdam's first house music clubs. Find out more about the museum here.
