  • Hyperdub has started an offshoot for releasing books. The first release on Flatlines Press is Zero, which the press text describes as a "time capsule" of the mid-week Ø events the label threw at South London venue Corsica Studios between January 2017 and March 2020. Curated by Kode9 and Shannen SP, with artwork designed by Manuel Sepulveda, the events were a platform for Hyperdub artists as well as some choice guests, including Björk, KG, Slikback, Kelman Duran, DJ Lag, Tirzah and Mark Leckey. The book features colour photos of the installations set up at each event, conceptual texts, artist biographies and a flyer archive. It's 120 pages and pocket sized. All profits from the sales will be donated to Latin Elephant, a charity working to help both traders displaced by the gentrification of Elephant & Castle and minority ethnic groups in the area. Check out photos of Zero.
Flatlines Press / Hyperdub Records will release Zero on October 12th, 2021.
