  • Producer, DJ and professor King Britt has revealed an impressive list of guests for the next term of his Blacktronika: Afrofuturism In Electronic Music course at the University Of California, San Diego. The music course, which is available to all UCSD students, explores "the lineage of many of the groundbreaking black, electronic artists who have been integral but overlooked in the development & commodification of house, techno, drum & bass and experimental music," according to Britt's own summary of the class. For the fall term, guests will include Theo Parrish, Ron Trent, Masters At Work, Flying Lotus, Mad Professor, Elsa M'Bala, Computer Jay, Colloboh, Amp Fiddler, Yaw Evans and Dave Davis. Some guests will lecture while others will perform for the class. For more information, check out the Blacktronika Linktree and Instagram.
