  • An archive of Shaun Bloodworth's photography is in the works. The project, which consists of a dedicated Instagram account and website set to share the late photographer's work, was announced on Twitter today. Bloodworth passed away in 2016 due to infections suffered while awaiting a liver transplant. The fundraising event #Raveforshaun, which was scheduled for later that same day, became a celebration of his life and work. Born in Sheffield, UK, Bloodworth started his career as an editorial photographer in 1989 before going on to document everything from the war in the Balkans to the aftermath of the Chernobyl disaster in Ukraine. In later years, he was celebrated for his photos of many seminal artists and events within the wider electronic music community, such as Flying Lotus, Benga, Mary Anne Hobbs and Blawan. He's also known for creating the famous cover art for Skream's first album at the West Indian Centre in Leeds. Follow the Shaun Bloodworth Archive on Instagram.
