Jordan Czamanski, AKA Jordan GCZ, is releasing his debut solo album next year.
Spanning 12 tracks, My Brain's Brain will be available digitally and on vinyl from February 2022 via Terrence Dixon's Minimal Detroit Audio label, which launched earlier this year.
"I've been a huge fan of Terrence since the late '90s so when Minimal Detroit Audio asked me if I'd like to release an album with them it was a no-brainer," Czamanski told Resident Advisor. "Regarding the music on the album, Terrence and the whole crew gave me a true carte blanche, and I went for it. I feel like the album is a pretty good representation of where I'm at musically at the moment."
Dixon and Czamanski first met in 2019. Within a week, they'd recorded the 2020 EP Outnumbered and a follow-up album, which Czamanski told RA is coming "later this year."
Previous solo releases by Czamanski, who is one half of Juju & Jordash, include Crybaby J, Pinball Lizard and 2021's Introspective Acid.
