  • Call Super is releasing two new records this fall. The double-EP Cherry Drops—split into two parts, one coming this month and the other in October—will come via can you feel the sun, the label they started with Parris back in 2019. The tracks on these two records were reportedly made while they were working on a larger project called Tell Me I Didn't Choose This about a "turbulent" time in their life, according to the release notes. < Cherry Drops became an outlet for escape from the rigid instrumental parameters of that project, a place for Call Super to explore dance music again. Part One features three new tracks while Part Two includes two, including the ten-minute long "Tree Song." Call Super's last release was their third album, Every Mouth Teeth Missing, which came out last October. Watch the video for "Eye Flow Wide," directed by Shanghai artist Kim Laughton.
