The I Love: series launches next month with a UK funky night that enlists the likes of Katy B, Scratcha DVA and Donae'o to play at Ministry Of Sound.
Rinse FM has announced a new series of shows, documentaries and vinyl compilations.
The I Love: project will celebrate the various strands of UK electronic music culture, with each entry focusing on a specific genre. The series launches at Ministry Of Sound on October 9th with I Love: Funky, a night which shares its name with Rinse's 2010 compilation. Future events will also focus on grime, drum and bass, jungle and dubstep through 2022.
I Love: Funky will feature live performances from Donae'o and Katy B, who will play her first live UK funky performance in over a decade. Artists like Marcus Nasty, Scratcha DVA and Rinse founder Geeneus will also join them, spread out across four rooms.
Each instalment of the project will be accompanied by a genre-focused documentary and vinyl compilation, with further details to be announced.
