  • The Juke Bounce Werk crew will take over The Music Center on September 4th. The Music Center—the Grand Avenue complex which includes the iconic Walt Disney Concert Hall—will host the LA-rooted footwork crew. JBW co-founders DJ Noir and Jae Drago are set to play, as are key label affiliates DJ SWISHA and Kush Jones. From its inception, Juke Bounce Werk has looked to footwork's birthplace, Chicago, for inspiration—Windy City footwork pioneer DJ Clent will join the bill, as will Jlin, the innovative producer from nearby Gary, Indiana. The Chicago-to-LA footwork dancer King Charles will also perform alongside Creation Global. They'll also be teaching basic footwork steps to attendees at the outdoor, masks-required show. Nearly everyone on the lineup played a role in Juke Bounce Werk establishing a vital connection between Chicago and the budding LA and NYC footwork scenes.
