- He's asking for $10,000 via GoFundMe.
John Lyons, AKA DJ J Heat, has set up a GoFundMe page following a car accident.
The New Jersey producer, who has released on Night Slugs, Moveltraxx and Fade To Mind, was left with significant injuries, including a broken nose and jaw, and fractured hands, shoulder and gums. He also lost several teeth.
"I'm making use of my bed rest and trying to focus on music, stocks, assets and fitness," Lyons said via Instagram. "I don't want to sit here and be sad about my situation, I know God has something big planned for me... Side note: please tell your loved ones how much they mean to you, and maintenance your vehicle as much as possible."
Lyons has so far raised more than a third of his $10,000 goal, which he says will go towards his medical and dental costs. Resident Advisor is one of the donors.
