  • Marco Shuttle has announced a third album, Cobalt Desert Oasis, due October 15th on Jenny Slattery and Anthony Naples' Incienso label. Recorded over a two-year period, the 11-track Cobalt Desert Oasis features a collection of music Marco Shuttle has gathered on his travels, returning to Berlin with field recordings and other inspirations to work with in his studio. The album is noticeably more acoustic than his previous releases, rich in complex rhythms and different percussive elements, including the Tombak, a traditional Persian hand drum. The record will follow Shuttle’s first two albums, 2014’s Visione on his own Eerie Records, and 2017’s Systhema, which came out on Donato Dozzy’s Spazio Disponibile. Incienso have also released music by the likes of Nene H and DJ Python. Listen to lead single "Acrobat."
