  • A fundraiser has been launched to raise money for a Keith Flint mural in London. The artwork, which would go up on Beechwood Road, Hackney, will be completed to coincide with World Suicide Prevention Day on September 10th, 2021. This date also lands a week before what would be Flint's 52nd birthday. Commissioned by Headstock, the UK's largest festival promoting mental wellbeing, the mural is intended to promote the free mental health support texting service, Shout 85258. According to the crowdfunder, the money raised will allow Headstock to pay mural artist Akse P19 and his support crew, as well as cover any "hard costs such as scissor lift hire, Public Liability Insurance, Pavement Licence and Health & Safety management." The Prodigy lead singer Keith Flint committed suicide on March 4th, 2019. The band formed in 1990 and was famous for bridging the gap between punk, rock and electronic music.
