  • Two Fingas (AKA Andrew Green) and James T. Kirk (AKA Eddie Otchere) are reissuing their long out-of-print novel, JUNGLIST. Otchere, who co-wrote the book at the age of 19 under the alias James T. Kirk, has gone on to become an important cultural photographer, documenting Goldie's drum & bass night, Metalheadz, and capturing portraits of rap crew Wu-Tang Clan. Read our recent Snapshot feature with him here. Andrew Green is a South London-based director and journalist. He wrote another two novels, Bass Instinct and Evil Eye, around the same time as JUNGLIST. First released in 1995, JUNGLIST is a coming-of-age story of young, Black men in London's early '90s jungle scene. It's being re-released on August 10th by Repeater Books, together with a new introduction by Sukhdev Sandhu. The book launch will take place at The Social, London, on August 10th, in addition to a live conversation and book signing with the two authors at Rough Trade East on August 19th.
