Grouper is back on Kranky with a new album.
Shade, due on October 22nd, consists of nine songs that were recorded over the past 15 years across various locations that include California and Oregon. The coastal landscapes of the Bay Area and Pacific Northwest greatly influenced the LP, which continues in the well-loved artist's trademark mix of atmosphere and songs.
Shade follows the 2018 LP Grid Of Points. In 2019, Liz Harris released a full-length as Nivhek, After Its Own Death / Walking In A Spiral Towards The House.
